Why come to Mesa?

Mesa is the largest suburb of Phoenix and borders both Tempe the Tonto National Forest.  It's charming downtown  hosts some of the valley's best museums, art centers and culinary hangouts. Here are a few reasons to put Mesa on your bucket list!

1)  Our tour-the Mesa Art & History Walk.   This might sound a little precocious but in our two hour walk you can check off a handful of reasons to come.  Here they are:
  • See the magnificent architecture of the Mesa,Arizona Temple built in 1927.  This is one of the first temples built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The grounds are impeccable, the frieze is unmatched.
  • Check out the Mesa Art Center.  Winning multiple awards for it's architecture, it also boasts the best contemporary art museum in Arizona.  With 5 side by side galleries you get an eyeful of fascinating art for sure!
  • See, touch and feel the valley's largest bronze statue collection.  These statues line our charming Main Street giving it depth of character and rich storytelling.
  • Our up and coming foodie scene boasts a handful of award winning eateries.  Namely, Republica Empanada, Worth TakeAway,  and Proof Bread just to name a few.  Come on our tour to find out more!
2)  Natural History Museum:  We'll pass by this on the tour,  but it's a great place to check out afterwards with fascinating replicas of ancient Native American abodes, moving dinosaurs and other southwest paraphernalia.
